The Therapist II - Respiratory possesses intermediate-to-expert knowledge of Pediatric and/or Neonatal cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology. S/he has intermediate-to-expert knowledge and clinical acumen in the use of all medical devices and techniques used in respiratory therapy for the Pediatric and/or Neonatal patient population.   S/he demonstrates intermediate-to-advanced level professional skills relevant to patient assessment, disease identification and evaluation, and administration of clinical therapeutic, interventional, and diagnostic care. S/he demonstrates the knowledge and skills to participate in education of the patient, family and public. The Therapist II - Respiratory is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard.  The Therapist II - Respiratory participates in the supervision and teaching of junior and new members of staff within the department. Provide expert respiratory therapy care for pediatric and neonatal patients, including assessment, disease identification, and administration of therapeutic interventions. Supervise and teach junior staff members while ensuring all duties meet the highest clinical standards.
