Job DetailsJob Location: New Hope C - Rock Hill, SC 29732Education Level: Graduate DegreeTherapist Job Description Job Summary The Therapist serves as the primary therapist and coordinates all treatment services through the provision of direct counseling of all residents on his/her caseload. New Hope embraces a trauma-informed, evidenced-based individualized approach to the care and treatment of our residents. New Hope employs a team of Utilization Review Specialists and Case Managers who handle authorizations and discharge planning so our therapists can focus on providing therapy. Essential Functions • Provides, individual, group and family therapies to assigned residents. (Average caseload size is 10 or less). • Ensures comprehensive clinical assessments are completed within identified timeframes. • Completes and implements all clinical documentation as required within the time frames established by New Hope Carolinas. • Maintains regular contact with families, legal guardians, representatives of referral agencies, and courts (as required); provides regular updates on resident progress and ensures that residents, families, legal guardians and representatives of referral agencies are included in the treatment planning process and in all aspects of planning for the resident. Qualifications Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree in a Human Services field with some experience in the mental health profession. ABA experience a plus. Must be license eligible in the state of South Carolina (LSW, LMSW, LISW-CP, LISW-AP, LPC, LPC-S, LMFT, LMFT-S).
