Personalized Nursing LIGHT House (PNLH), a leading behavioral health provider with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a qualified and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our team! We are looking for a part-time therapist to provide clients with trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care in a structured residential setting on the weekends. POSITION SUMMARY As a Primary Therapist, you will deliver individual and group therapy to adult clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will use the LIGHT model to guide clinical decision-making and support clients in achieving sustainable recovery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide weekly individual therapy for assigned clients * Facilitate therapeutic groups weekly on PNLH-selected topics * Use the LIGHT model in assessment, education, and counseling * Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and respond to client needs * Monitor service utilization and coordinate care with internal and external providers * Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentation * Ensure compliance with authorization and billing requirements * Maintain client confidentiality and participate in case conferences * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Required * Master’s degree and licensure (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, etc.) * CADC, CAADC, or MCBAP Development Plan (support provided to obtain plan if not currently held) Preferred * Minimum two years of experience in substance use disorder counseling * Training in trauma-informed care * Experience treating co-occurring mental health disorders * Familiarity with authorization processes for Michigan’s PIHP system COMPENSATION * Competitive hourly rate up to $30.00, commensurate with education and experience Saturday and/or Sunday Day Shift
