Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE AND WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING:

Our residential care team at Frank Prendergast House located in Success is looking for a Therapy Assistant on a permanent part-time basis, to provide client-focused individual support to our valued residents.
Caring for the local community since 2002, Frank Prendergast House is centrally located in Success in Perth’s southern suburbs.
You’ll have the opportunity to apply your skills and experience to improve the safety and independence of our residents. They’ll be looking to you for activities that will enhance self-care, daily living skills and other rehabilitation activities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Organise the activities planner and conduct activities
  • Support appropriate access to the resident’s current interests
  • Liaise with community groups and schools to support activities
  • Work as part of a team
  • Show compassion & exercise patience
  • Treat our residents & their family with respect
