To support our Advanced Surgical Therapy portfolio for Flanders (East- and West Flanders) we are currently looking for a fulltime customer-oriented field Therapy Sales Specialist with excellent communication skills and natural ability to spot business opportunities. This is a great challenge for a person with a strong relations management skill and, at least, 10 years commercial experience in a hospital environment. This is a rewarding role, in which you can define and execute your own sales strategies and be part of a professional and collegial team!

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree
  • Senior sales experience with a demonstrated track record
  • High motivation, sales-driven, enthusiastic attitude, comfortable with change and growth
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, persuasive, communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in Dutch and very good level of English
  • Advanced presentation and negotiation skills
  • Used to work independently with a high level of time management skills
  • Service-oriented team player concerned with helping people, business-minded and with an entrepreneurial spirit

Responsibilities
  • Main purpose: to implement a range of surgical products and services in hospitals, mainly in the operation room and focused on sales growth. Your customers are existing and potential new hospitals in your territory (focus on West-Flanders). You take charge of your responsibilities and enjoy working independently. You are given the opportunity to plan your work autonomous, with the focus on achieving your objectives. Your sales manager will support you to achieve your goals.
  • Clinical knowledge: we expect you to be able to learn and comprehend complex medical and scientific information, and to support surgeons and nurses in the correct use of our surgical portfolio (in collaboration with the product marketeers).
  • Tender Management: you are responsible for tender cases and will work in close collaboration with the tender team, product managers and sales manager.
  • Business Development: you can identify sales prospects, preparing action plans, following up on new leads and referrals. You will interact with purchasing managers/hospital administrators to set up and negotiate broader sales contracts. You can maintain customer knowledge by gathering information about account activities and potential, key decision makers, competitive participation, market share etc.
