Description

At Medtronic you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Are you looking for a role where your expertise can make a real impact? As a Therapy Sales Specialist (TSS) in Medtronic’s Diabetes Operating Unit, you will serve as a trusted resource, providing essential support to both patients and healthcare professionals. In this dynamic position, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal use of Medtronic’s diabetes care products and services. Beyond sharing technical knowledge, you will be responsible for patient training, post-sales support and contributing to strategic regional plans in collaboration with internal teams and fellow TSS colleagues. Upholding Medtronic’s highest ethical standards, you will also build strong professional relationships in your assigned territory.
Reporting directly to the Sr. Technical & Sales Coordinator North-West Italy, you will be part of the Piemonte-VDA Sales Team, working closely with diabetologists, endocrinologists, internal medicine specialists, pediatric diabetology professionals, healthcare administrators, and pharmacies. This role covers the Piemonte-VDA region, where you will help drive awareness and education on diabetes care solutions. If you are ready to take on a meaningful challenge and make a difference in diabetes care, we’d love to hear from you!

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A degree in a scientific discipline or, alternatively, equivalent experience with at least five years in technical-commercial roles within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, specifically in the diabetes sector.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and software.
  • A valid Category B driver’s license and availability for frequent travel within Piemonte and Valle D’Aosta, with occasional travel across the national territory.
  • Strong knowledge of the medical device market and diabetes-related therapies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, a consultative approach, results orientation, teamwork, proactivity, assertive communication, and familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
A strong scientific background and a good command of English are preferred. Ideally, the candidate is based in the Piemonte or Valle D’Aosta area.
