WE WILL ALWAYS BE A SOURCE OF HOPE   WHO YOU ARE You are an organized and passionate Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist who has a desire to make an impact by acting as the supervisor for a team of service providers by providing collaboration, communication, and mentorship.  WHAT YOU’LL NEED Qualifications * Professional license in the field of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology * 3 years of progressive experience in a special education setting  * Customer service experience * At least 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred) * Passion for supporting students with special education needs WHAT YOU’LL DO * Monitor compliance for all services through productivity and documentation  * Ensure services are in compliance with professional standards as well as state and federal regulatory requirements * Utilize compliance and documentation system to ensure efficacy and efficiency of services provided * Complete integrity checks and observations * Review and monitor documentation in accordance with Hope deadlines and legal timelines * Maintain a high level professionalism and confidentiality when review documentation * Maintain communication with Service Providers, students, and/or caregivers regarding progress and needs * Plan and deliver training sessions to other therapists and staff members * Continuously seek out professional growth and development opportunities related to school based therapies * Work with multidisciplinary team members to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for their students and improve service delivery * Consistently exhibit a positive attitude and strong customer service in accordance with Hope’s values and mission to support the public, supervisors, individuals, and coworkers * Actively participate in staff meetings and in-service training programs to continuously update skills * Satisfy requirements for certification renewal through steady pursuit of education and professional development opportunities * Follow state and/or national board regulations * Participate in individual meetings, such as annual IEP meetings * Participate in research projects as available * Act as a mentor for new hires and current peers through a formal mentorship program. * Participate in team development and management, including on/off boarding, coaching, and counseling * Plan, monitor, and appraise job results and conduct ongoing training * Oversee assistants, interns and students * Coordinate schedules and coverage for service providers across divisions * Advise the Director of the Hope Learning Center and the Executive Team on strategic issues as well as provide documentation and logistic support * Perform any additional duties as deemed necessary by your direct supervisor and/or CEO Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Knowledge of office management  * Working knowledge of Google Suite and Gmail  * Problem solving skills  * Customer service orientation  * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Good organizational and multitasking abilities * Ability to communicate information to students, parents, colleagues and 3rd parties effectively, and to timely monitor and report on developments * Exercises sound judgment and exhibits strong decision-making and problem solving skills * Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, clients and the public * Displays exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills * Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team Clearances & Training Required * Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance * Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance * Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education * Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate * Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children * State License of Practice and/or Certification * CPR/First Aid * TB/Physical WHAT WE OFFER * Competitive Pay Rate * Health Insurance - With employer contribution * Dental and Vision Insurance - 100% by employer paid * Paid Time Off  * Retirement Investment Savings Plan * Professional Development Opportunities * Discount Market Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy The Hope Center is committed to maintaining fair and equitable employment practices in compliance with all applicable federal and state requirements. Responsibilities
The Therapy Supervisor will monitor compliance for all services and ensure they meet professional standards and regulatory requirements. They will also plan and deliver training sessions, maintain communication with service providers, and participate in team development.
