Job Description Your Role You will be at the centre of the development and characterization of Electrolux products in accordance with project requirements, consumer needs, and machine functionalities. You will support the designers, functional, and performance teams for the development of new structures in Fabric Care affecting product functionality. You will also be the protagonist in creating and sustaining a global laboratory community and external laboratory relationship. Location description You will be based in Rayong. Here, in a dynamic environment, we develop and test domestic Tumble Dryers. You will work within the development team, along with different colleagues from different R&D labs and development teams. A Typical Day • Planning, execution, data post-processing, and analysis of tests on machines and their components/sub-systems • Test plan definition according to required targets and respecting timelines and deliverables • Understanding of testing procedures, both standard and customized • Definition of novel test practices upon need • Test report preparation and release after appropriate data post processing and analysis • Preparation and verification of measurement systems applied to prototypes and components, systems or appliances for lab testing • Understanding of product technical specifications • Experimental characterization in terms of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics of tumble dryers focusing on performance, cost and quality, according to platforms targets (technical specifications, functionality performance and robustness) • Works autonomously, following established procedures and guidelines to contribute to improvement. • Interacts with cross-functional teams, shares knowledge. Classified as Internal • Prioritizes and organizes own work to deliver to agreed deadlines • Applies knowledge/skills to a variety of standard day to day activities • Identifies and solves problems in straightforward situations; generates possible solutions, analyzes each using standard procedures • Builds productive relationships within and outside of own team • Support Cost reduction and Quality improvement activities • Coordinate with Global laboratory for equipment, test procedures, test manual, capability, and competence. Who You Are Education • Mechanical / Aeronautical / Energy Engineering degree or equivalent. Experience • 3+ years of experience as R&D engineer. • Experience in topics related to fluid dynamics & thermodynamics, in particular psychometrics and heat pump systems. Knowledge • Knowledge of laboratory equipment, data acquisition systems, testing procedures, and evaluations of results • Knowledge of statistical methods and tools • Basic software programming and knowledge of Matlab are a plus • Analytical thinking and practical problem-solving skills Skill • English efficient communication skills • Good communication skills • Leadership • Motivation Electrolux Group is a leading global appliance company that has shaped living for the better for more than 100 years.
