ADDITIONAL BENEFICIAL SKILLS

  • Prior experience in audiology and/or acoustics, particularly psychoacoustics.
  • Familiarity with working with hearing-impaired individuals and hearing aid fitting.
  • Knowledge in audio signal processing.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and relevant software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python)

Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on your individual role (internship, working student, or thesis), you will support us in topics such as:

  • Contributing to foundational audiological research projects in sound perception, hearing aid fitting, and signal processing.
  • Designing, developing, and evaluating fitting strategies and software features
  • Evaluating and optimizing signal processing algorithms based on technical and perceptual data.
  • Planning, coordinating, conducting, and analysing audiological user tests, field trials, and studies.
  • Organising and executing competitive benchmarking studies on audiological topics.
  • Supporting scientific projects, including literature reviews, study design, execution, and publications.
