Description Position Overview The Third-Party Logistics Representative will analyze third-party carrier invoices, work closely with the third-party carriers on all discrepancies, and assist other Third-Party Logistics Specialists as needed. This role ensures that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the payment for goods and services used by the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage and maintain rules within the automated AP system to ensure accurate invoice capture into the ERP, aligning with company policies and controls. Gain and maintain a working knowledge of Offen Petroleum’s accounts payable processes Analyze third-party carrier invoices Help with the automation of third-party carrier invoices File AP documents daily using established processes Research Third-Party loading discrepancies Contact Third-Party Logistics vendors about invoice discrepancies Research service failures and Monthly reporting of all Third-Party accessorial fees Provide backup support to the Third-Party Logistics Specialist Required/Preferred Education & Experience High school degree or equivalent, college level accounting classes preferred 2 years previous accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Intermediate computer skills and 10-key by touch calculator skills MS Excel proficiency – lookup and pivot tables NetSuite experience preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Proficient in the English language and able to communicate effectively in oral and written form Working Environment and Physical Demands (Office Positions) Work is performed in a standard office environment.
