- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team, fostering collaboration and driving a high-performance culture
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with senior stakeholders, including board members, regulatory authorities, and cross-functional teams
- Expertise in aligning third-party management and outsourcing strategies with organizational goals, ensuring they support long-term strategic objectives
- Advanced decision-making skills to navigate complex scenarios involving vendor performance, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Comprehensive project management capabilities for overseeing vendor transitions, contract renewals, and outsourcing initiatives
- Conflict resolution skills to address disputes or challenges with vendors, maintaining constructive relationships while protecting organizational interests
- Proficiency in managing change, particularly during vendor onboarding or the implementation of updated outsourcing processes
- Strong understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance, including frameworks like DORA, GDPR, and local regulatory requirements such as those from the NBB
- Analytical skills to monitor vendor performance metrics, such as KPIs and SLAs, ensuring continuous improvement and value delivery
- Budget management expertise, including cost optimization and negotiation of favorable contract terms

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the organization’s third-party management framework, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of third-party vendor relationships, including ICT and IT outsourcing arrangements
- Lead the evaluation and selection process for vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, security, and operational needs
- Negotiate, formalize, and manage contracts, including defining SLAs, KPIs, and performance-monitoring mechanisms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, security, legal, and compliance teams) to address risks, define standards, and ensure contracts include robust data protection and security clauses
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and ensuring vendor compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Act as the main liaison with the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) for compliance with outsourcing regulations and ensure timely reporting for critical outsourcing arrangements
- Monitor the ongoing performance of ICT/IT vendors through regular assessments, including due diligence, risk analysis, and SLA compliance reviews
- Coordinate incident handling, reporting, and root cause analysis related to vendor service failures or security events
- Drive vendor performance improvements through structured feedback, reviews, and collaborative action plans
- Oversee business continuity measures for outsourcing arrangements, ensuring readiness for disruptions and alignment with DORA and other regulatory standards
- Provide senior management and board-level updates on vendor performance, risk status, and compliance metrics
