Job Purpose Managing the access arrangements and permits to authorise and enable third parties to undertake works on the rail assets. Key Responsibilities • Contribute to a small team to receive and process third party works access requests as per documented procedures • Perform the Issuing of permits, documentation and updating records • Coordinate with UGLRL Infrastructure and Maintenance team as required • Liaise directly with internal and external professionals (engineers, design consultants, other organisation principals) as a means of providing efficient resolution to application issues • Ensure that all project works at interface zones are carried out in accordance with quality, environmental, and safety management plans. • Identify and recognise risks prior to work commencing and communicate to relevant stakeholders to ensure all risks and management options are identified • Ensure that any proposals do not negatively impact on UGLRL-CRN and TfNSW’s network safety, integrity and/ or operations • Ensure that all recommendations are documented, evidenced and supported by the appropriately qualified Stakeholders • Build strong internal and external stakeholder management through positive, proactive and professional communication to keep key people informed as to the process, progress and issues related to non-compliance of applications as required • Communication with third parties as to compliances and non-compliances • Provision of detailed information as to process of approval and requirements necessary for approvals Qualifications • Experience in a Contract Administration process environment (Desirable) • Ability to utilise Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio, Excel and MS Project) and record management systems to produce reports and record information to required standards. • Experience working in a small team environment performing administration and associated activities, along with an understanding of the application of policies and procedures. • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team. • Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
