Responsibilities

Recruitment of new affiliates for THSCS (Texas Health Supply Chain Services) ?�� developing the pipeline for new affiliates, formulating the sales plan, presentations, development of relationships with distribution partners, national GPO contacts, health system executives, etc. 25%
Negotiates and oversees execution of THSCS agreements ?�� negotiates terms and conditions with vendors and assures that contracts are honored over the term of the agreements. Also assures that administrative fees are paid by suppliers utilizing the THSCS regional GPO in a timely manner. 25%
Relationship management of current affiliates ?�� ensuring that the needs of current affiliates are being met; savings opportunities are presented, contract activations, assist in the management of supplier relationships, conducting monthly affiliate calls/meetings, etc. 20%
Assist in the development of the THSCS local contract portfolio ?�� work with leadership on creating new contract categories for the regional GPO, develop the value proposition to THSCS suppliers for contracting with the regional GPO, marketing the THSCS portfolio to new and existing affiliates. 20%
Assist leadership in the oversight and growth of THSCS operations?�� this position will be selling the contract portfolio and services of THSCS, and therefore, the role requires knowledge of the overall operations of the department in order to articulate the value of THSCS to prospective customers and to provide recommendations for enhancements of THSCS?�� service offerings. 10%
