Lead Tia Chi sessions and provide instruction to guests in the gym area 2. Effectively communicate the spas health and fitness philosophy to guests 3. Understand anatomy and physiology 4. Arrive at work fifteen minutes prior to starting time wearing your nametag and proper uniform to ensure ready for guests  5. Attend and participate in regularly scheduled training sessions and meetings 6. Be an active participant in the department by contributing to new programs and development ideas 7. Be guest service oriented and interact with guests in a pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic manner 8. Perform classes and sessions in a safe manner in compliance with all recognized standards 9. Ensure proper supplies are gathered for each class or session including sign-in log, and all related safety equipment 10. Provide clear and appropriate directions for guests for overall safety  11. Display appropriate teamwork, flexibility and interpersonal skills 12. Always follow all Department standards of operations 13. Provide a safe, clean, personal, entertaining and well thought out class or session that exceeds guest’s expectations 14. Always maintain confidentiality of Mii amo information 15. Other duties as assigned Supervision Exercised: None Supervision Received: Fitness and Nutrition Manager Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent work experience. Pilates Reformer Certification and/or Registered Yoga Teacher certification are required.  More than one certification is preferred.  1-3 years recent experience teaching Pilates Reformer and/or Yoga classes.  Ability to assess the fitness level and special needs of the class participants and modify the class accordingly.  Attention to detail and able to multi-task many priorities.  Self motivated ability to work with little supervision and organized.   Must be dependable.  Must maintain current CPR and First Aid certification. Ability to lead guests in safe and professional manner. Must display a healthy well-balanced body, a neat appearance, a caring attitude and the ability to communicate clearly and simply.  Safety sensitive position. Physical Requirements: 5% Sitting 95% walking, standing & bending including exercise for specific class or session Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs. Hearing and manual dexterity Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
