We are hiring a Ticket Buyer for our client, a fast-growing ticket brokerage that buys and sells event inventory across sports, concerts, and live entertainment. This role is for someone who already understands the ticket world. You know that timing matters. You know that the right seats can make or break a deal. You know that moving fast, staying organized, and spotting opportunity before others do can turn one smart buy into serious profit. Our client has built a strong business by finding the right inventory at the right time. Now they are ready to bring on a sharp, self-driven operator who can help find, research, and purchase tickets with real ownership. A Day in This Role You start early, when the best on-sales are happening. You check the day’s events, open Ticketmaster and other ticket sites, review target seats, and make sure every account, card, and sheet is ready before inventory goes live. A sports event is about to drop. You know the team, the demand, the venue, and which sections are worth chasing. You move fast, pull the right seats, check out cleanly, and log everything without needing someone to walk you through each step. Later, you research upcoming games, concerts, and smaller events that could be strong buying chances. You spot patterns. You flag ideas. You message the founder with clear notes like, “This looks strong, here’s why, should we buy?” You end the day with clean records, fresh opportunities, and inventory that can turn into real profit. What You’ll Do You will help research, buy, and organize ticket inventory. You will: Buy tickets through Ticketmaster and other major ticket platforms Research sports, concerts, and live events for strong buying opportunities Track inventory, purchases, accounts, cards, and key details in Google Sheets Move quickly during on-sales and high-demand drops Identify strong seats, weak seats, risk, demand, and resale potential Handle signups, email accounts, admin tasks, and ticket-related research Communicate clearly with the founder about ideas, buys, and next steps Stay organized without needing constant follow-up Bring smart suggestions instead of waiting for every instruction You’re Right for This If You have ticket buying, ticket pulling, or ticket brokerage experience You understand Ticketmaster, AXS, Live Nation, StubHub, Vivid Seats, and similar sites You know how to move fast during high-demand ticket drops You can use Google Sheets or Excel confidently You understand supply, demand, seat quality, and event value You are resourceful and can figure things out on your own You have strong English communication skills You have fast, reliable internet and a strong computer setup You can consistently work during key US morning hours This Role Is Not for You If You have no real ticket buying experience You need to be taught the ticket business from scratch You wait for step-by-step instructions before taking action You are slow under pressure during live drops You are messy with tracking, accounts, cards, or purchase details You do not follow US sports, concerts, or live events You need heavy daily management to stay productive Bonus If You Have Experience working for a ticket broker or ticket company Experience with Jancy Browser Strong knowledge of US sports, especially basketball, football, baseball, or playoffs Experience buying across Ticketmaster, AXS, Live Nation, and resale platforms Experience managing multiple accounts, emails, and cards A strong eye for profitable ticket opportunities Why This Role Is Exciting You will join a business where one smart move can create real upside You will work directly with the founder and have room to earn trust fast You will not be stuck doing only basic admin work You will get ownership over research, buying, and opportunity spotting You will help build a stronger buying operation from the ground up If you perform well, there is room to grow as the business scales Compensation Competitive pay based on your region.
