TICKET COLLECTOR

Working Hours:6:30am-2:30pm or 2pm-10pm, select a fixed time slot,
6 days a week
Rotating shifts, 4 days off per month
Location: Woodlands

Responsibilities
  • Ticket Verification: Check if passengers have a valid ticket for their journey or entry.
  • Passenger Assistance: Address customer inquiries, resolve ticketing issues, and assist with seating or other travel-related problems.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure passengers are safe, enforce rules and regulations, and report any security concerns or restricted items to authorities.
  • Fare Collection & Dispute Resolution: Handle passengers who do not have the correct fare, explaining consequences and offering solutions such as purchasing a new ticket.
  • Record Keeping: May involve preparing charge sheets, managing ticket inventory, or other administrative tasks related to ticketing and operations.
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to a diverse range of people.
  • Communication Skills: Clearly and politely communicate with passengers, colleagues, and authorities.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve issues, such as fare disputes, calmly and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurately check tickets and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Observational Skills: Notice any security issues or violations of rules and regulations.
