Description Ticket Office Associate provides customer service and enhances the SPCO's public image by following customer service policies and procedures while leveraging customer interactions to increase sales and donations for the organization. This position takes all incoming calls for the organization, processes subscription, single ticket and concert member orders, and handles customer service needs over the phone and in-person at concerts. Primary Job Functions and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Processing ticket orders, exchanges, and general customer service through phone, mail and walk-up sales, utilizing cross- and up-selling techniques in every interaction Staffing the box office at performance venues during approximately 4-8 concerts per month Assisting with proofing process for season and subscriptions Placing outgoing calls to update payment methods Placing outgoing fundraising calls SPCO CORE ATTRIBUTES All employees of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra must possess and demonstrate the following core attributes in the execution of their work. Collaborative Commitment to Service and Quality Empathy Humility Integrity Intellectual Curiosity Benefits Include: Employee Assistance Plan Workers Compensation insurance Paid ESST Free tickets to most SPCO concerts Hybrid work environment (as work allows) Requirements Must possess excellent customer service skills, both in person, and over the phone Must possess excellent computer skills, including, but not limited to, data entry, completing monetary transactions, and navigating webpages Have a clean driving record and regular access to reliable and secure transportation to and from various concert venues High school diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience are required Availability to work a variable schedule, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy Experience with AudienceView, and/or other ticketing software is a plus Background in music or the arts is a plus Must be able to pass a criminal background check
