Description Position Overview: The Ticket Office Show Supervisor will assist with running the Ticket Office for Seattle Symphony (SSO) and Benaroya Hall Music Center (BHMC) events in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervising Ticket Office staff during symphony and other shows, providing excellent customer service, and operating in a financially sound manner to meet the needs of the SSO and BHMC, its presenters and patrons. Essential Job Functions · Acts as Show Supervisor of Ticket Office Representatives for SSO and BMHC events, implementing Ticket Office show procedures from show set-up through closing. · Sends all necessary reports to other departments providing up to date Ticket Office information and send a night of show report summarizing the events. · Acts as primary contact with the Front of House Manager during events and works in conjunction with them to provide an exemplary customer service experience. · Resolves customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely manner. · Coordinates and fulfills auction requests via the Auctions Inbox and Community Connection requests with Education & Community Engagement. Process third party sales, complimentary tickets, and other orders as needed by management and other departments. · Monitors all credit card and cash transactions for Ticket Office operations. · Participates in department meetings and share information with Ticket Office staff. · Assists in processing subscription and single ticket sales for all SSO, NGL and BHMC programming. · Assists with the daily flow of phone calls and mail printing and processing. · Maintains high standards of customer service. · Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: · Ticket office experience strongly preferred. · Previous supervisory experience. · Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to prioritize various competing tasks and requests. · Ability to maintain composure and perform as a team player in a fast-paced environment. · Evenings, weekends, and holidays required. · Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as Tessitura Ticketing strongly preferred.
