SUMMARY

Ticketed Experienced Millwright with a minimum 2 year experience essential for this position. As a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic for Industrial Commercial Conveyor Assembly and Installations, you will be integral to the assembly, installation, and maintenance of conveyor systems.

Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 2 year experience in a Ticketed Millwright position is essential.
  • Knowledge of Conveyor Systems essential.
  • Must be able to read blueprints.
  • Must have own tools and transport.
  • Comply with Site Safety Plan, Site Rules and arrangements.
  • Install mechanical equipment to design specifications and drawings.
  • Take instruction from assigned Mechanical Supervisors for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
  • Install mechanical systems and their components for the purpose of ensuring the condition meet standards of previous installations as developed with Benchmark Catalogues.
  • Install the mechanical system to the customer requirements
  • Report damage to equipment, and tools for the purpose of ensuring availability in a safe operating condition.
  • Participates in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars, as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
    · Engage in problem solving where appropriate regarding site activities.

· Prevent fines and interruptions by complying with and enforcing the applicable codes and regulations.

  • Undertake mechanical static checks recording within Static Check Sheets or site reporting tool.
  • Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
  • Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site.
  • Protect the mechanical systems from damage during installation.
  • Liaise with contractors as instructed.
  • Attend toolbox talk, safety stand down and other safety related meetings on site.
  • Undertake lifting activities in a controlled manner in accordance with Lifting AP requirements.
