Description Position Overview: This is a full-time, non-exempt, 35 hours a week position that supports the various aspects of Seattle Symphony and Benaroya Hall ticketing processing and procedures, as well as serves as the main liaison for all group sales (subscriptions & single tickets). Essential Job Functions: ·Process subscription and single ticket purchases and exchanges in person, by phone, mail, and online in a helpful, friendly, accurate and timely manner. ·Reach out to potential patrons for group sales offers. ·Fulfill ticket needs for Group Sales Subscriptions and single concerts by providing stellar customer service for all group ticketing needs. ·Collaborate with the marketing managers on group sales materials. ·Be aware of and provide current information to all patrons in a proactive manner for all events at Benaroya Hall, which include Seattle Symphony, National Geographic Live presentations and various rental concerts and shows. ·Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers of the Seattle Symphony & Benaroya Hall. ·Staff day of show concert Ticket Office which includes ticket sales, will-call, providing ticket replacements and receipt of donated tickets. ·Responsible for accurate sales reconciliation. ·Participate in all training sessions in a positive, willing, and thoughtful manner. ·Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: ·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritize, and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment. ·Good judgment, as well as the ability to work well with other departments and maintain strong interpersonal relationships both inside and outside the Symphony. ·Ability to complete all tasks on schedule, thoroughly and accurately. ·Excellent customer service skills required. ·Computer experience in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word and Excel, necessary, experience with Tessitura desired ·Willing to work flexible hours – evenings and weekends required. ·Previous ticket office experience a plus.
