JOB DESCRIPTION

Tier 1 Security Officer to provide professional, uniformed security services at a retail facility. This role requires a strong customer service mindset while ensuring the safety and security of the premises.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• California Guard Card issued by BSIS
• Minimum 2 years of security experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Customer service experience: 1 year
• Security experience: 2 year
• Valid Driver’s License

• Ability to demonstrate leadership and authority in security situations
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to learn and operate multiple evolving technology-based applications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged standing, walking, and patrolling
• Ability to climb stairs
• Capability to work in various indoor retail environments
• Ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

• Monitor and patrol retail store premises, enforcing site policies
• Observe, report, and document incidents accurately
• Maintain electronic logs per company policy
• Deter theft and unauthorized activity through visible security presence
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining security protocols
• Call for assistance when necessary to mitigate security risks
