Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Tier 3 Application Support Specialist to join an innovative and dependable company located in New Castle, Delaware.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TIER 3 APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST:

  • 5+ years of experience with oil refinery specific operations; Honeywell Experion PKS, AspenTech Software Suite, SAP PM/MM, OSIsoft PI System, Emerson DeltaV, AVEVA & Hexagon PPM Applications, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Scripting/PowerShell/automation experience.
  • Understanding of code structures.
Responsibilities
  • Interact with clients to assess the scope and impact of technical challenges.
  • Research and analyze the functions of a wide variety of refinery applications, including dependencies on other systems.
  • Perform detailed log analysis and troubleshooting of application-hardware interactions.
  • Engage vendor support for unresolved technical issues.
  • Own troubleshooting processes from start to resolution, providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Document resolution procedures for both company and client knowledge bases.
  • Assist with provisioning, deployment, upgrading, and migration of application software.
