ABOUT SUREFIRE IT SOLUTIONS

This role is 100% based in Edmonton. It is not remote or work-from-home.
You’ll work directly with clients on-site and from our Edmonton office.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years in IT support, system administration, or network engineering
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Hyper-V
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, backup solutions, and cybersecurity protocols
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Comfortable working onsite and managing multiple priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, or Sophos
• Experience using RMM and PSA tools
• Familiarity with Halo and NinjaOne
• Diploma from NAIT, SAIT, or similar institution
• Understanding of how IT supports business operations
