JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding techniques and be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials, including ductwork and metal components, to fabricate and assemble parts for our manufacturing operations. MIG welding or gas metal arc welding (GMAW) uses a consumable electrode to weld two pieces of metal. TIG welding or gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) is a type of electric welding that uses a non-consumable electrode to join workpieces.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in MIG welding and TIG welding techniques.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Familiarity with rigging practices and crane operation is preferred.
  • Experience with machining processes and the use of calipers for measurement.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
  • Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
  • Knowledge of ductwork fabrication and construction practices is a plus.
