We have full-time permanent positions in the Vaughan + Etobicoke area for a straight DAY shift!

Location - Vaughan
Shift - Permanent FT Day Shift (6-230pm) OR Afternoon Shift (230pm-11pm)
Pay - $27-30+hr (depending on experience)

QUALIFICATIONS

What we are looking for:

• Strong knowledge and experience with TIG welding of THIN gauge stainless steel
• 3+ years experience in a welder fitter role working with thin gauge steel
• Must be able to work independently, but have team work attitude
• Ability to read and interpret a variety of welding blueprints, drawings specifications, and technical manuals to fit and weld product
• Ability to use a variety of hand and measurement tools for a fabrication shop
• High level of concentration and focus required

CWB Certifications are considered an ASSET, not a requirement!

• Weld and fit products according to specified blueprints and procedures
• Build products from blueprints and ensure internal quality measures are applied
• Conduct initial inspections of product to ensure adherence to safety and quality
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area in a professional and safe manner
• Perform fitting/assembling of parts together (following blueprints or production supervisor instruction)
• Ability to use power tools - portable grinders, cutters, bending equipment, small rolling machines etc
