* Position Overview TIG Welder 2 is responsible for being able to assemble and weld parts as directed, read prints to ensure proper welds, hold proper dimensions for each unit, fabricate parts to specifications, and follow directions.  The TIG Welder 2 is also responsible for directing others in proper assembly of parts and identifying parts required. Essential Job Functions * Knowledge of TIG welding; at least 2 years experience * Must be able to use a fork lift properly; at least 1 year experience * Able to train and supervise others * Able to air check tubes and make necessary repairs * Work tube inspection, and build ski lockers, pops, and center tubes * Knowledge of fabrication of parts and air checking tools * Know where to put lift eye flanges for different diameter tubes * Able to run bead on different material thickness * Knowledge of air and hand tools such as screw guns, drills, grinders, sanders, and band saws * Must be able to read blue prints and a tape measure efficiently Non-essential Job Functions * Must be a great problem solver * Communicate well with others * Organize work area Qualifications Requirements * Work inside without air conditioning * Exposure to dust and loud noises * Able to stand and walk around all day * Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and bending frequently * Must be able to lift and handle up to 50 pounds of material Other Skills/Abilities * Ability to be cross trained PPE Requirements * Safety glasses * Gloves * Weld helmet * Ear protection
