JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our welding shop team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, performing both repair work and fabricating custom projects. This role requires precision, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a TIG welder in a workshop or fabrication environment.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, safety protocols, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Certification in welding (such as AWS certification) is preferred but not required.

• Operate TIG welding equipment to join, repair, and fabricate metal components with high precision.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication and repairs.
• Perform welding tasks on various metals, including aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding problems as they arise.
• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of welding equipment.
