ABOUT US

TK Modular Systems Inc. (TKMS) is a custom fabricator with an in-house team of professionals dedicated to the engineering, design, fabrication and delivery of Integrated Process Modular Systems.
Our services include Preliminary and Detailed Process Design, 3-D Modeling, Modular Construction, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Installation, Start-Up and Commissioning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience with TIG welding of stainless-steel tubing, pipe, and/or structural steel.
· Welding License for Structural Steel and/or ASME Code related fitting and welding.
· Mechanically inclined and experienced with stainless-steel piping systems.
· Experience with Biotech/Pharmaceutical equipment or piping systems would be an asset.
· Understanding blueprint reading/geometric tolerance interpretation.
· Must possess basic math skills to include, but not limited to, adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, trigonometry, and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00-$39.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities

· Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to execute fabrication of piping systems, equipment tie-ins and piping system repairs.
· Set up components for fitting/welding according to specifications (e.g., cut and face material with Georg Fischer saws/tools to match measurements).
· Polish, grind or cut materials using angle grinders as required.
· Perform mechanical installation and related maintenance work as required.
· On occasion perform off-site re-assembly, installation, modification, or other related assignments.
· Where required, maintain records on jobs.
· Inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures and assignments.
· Organize daily tasks and follow supervisor requests to ensure production needs are met.
· Assist in coordinating job, work with other disciplines, (e.g., other fitters, welders, electricians, testing, etc.).
· Take part in developmental and training programs.
· Follow supervisor requests to ensure production needs are met.
· Participate with team to implement continuous improvement activities.
· Any other activities required as directed by supervisor.
