JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a TIG welder to join our manufacturing team. At Paramount we value great people, who are reliable, with a great atitude who want to build something here for themselves. TIG welding is a specific skill set, and requires excellence.
The ideal candidate will have TIG welding skills in stainless, steel and aluminum. The products we make for our customers are very niche and requires finesse in TIG welding skills. We do not do much MIG.
TIG welding roles in our industry are long term, where you can build a career in an easy going, but fast paced enviroment. Youd arent lifting heacy, working outside and get to learn new and challenging products to fabricate.

EXPERIENCE

  • TIG welding experience required with a weld test at interview.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and technical drawings required.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers is an asset.
  • TIG machine set up and operation.
    The position is full time permanent.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • TIG weld stainless, steel and aluminum parts.
  • grind and finish welded parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to weld and finish.
  • Count and manage ERP system log ins.
  • Perform routine clean up on equipment and area to ensure saftey.
  • Measure materials using calipers and other measuring tools for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
