POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team at Vertiv. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of metal components according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as a welder/fabricator.
  • Experience with TIG welding.
  • Skills:
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Certification:
  • Welding certification is preferred but not required.
    Pay: €15.50-€18.01 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and Welding:
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks using various welding techniques including TIG welding.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to understand job specifications.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and tools.
  • Quality Control:
  • Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
  • Ensure all fabricated components meet required standards and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on completed products.
  • Maintenance and Safety:
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
