Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Car Wash Equipment Maintenance & Support · Assist with preventative maintenance on wash systems (motors, pumps, sprayers, rollers, sensors, blowers, air compressors, water reclaim systems. · Help troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic issues impacting wash performance. · Support installation, upgrades, and adjustments to wash equipment under guidance. · Perform routine checks of chemical concentrations and ensure proper usage of detergents, waxes, and specialty products. · Complete basic repairs such as replacing hoses, fittings, belts, rollers, nozzles, and wash accessories. Operational Support & Site Readiness · Ensure wash bays, equipment rooms, and surrounding areas remain clean, organized, and safe (Everything Speaks). · Conduct site walk-throughs to identify safety hazards, cleanliness concerns, or operational issues. · Support emergency service calls by assisting with diagnostics and hands-on repairs. · Provide courteous customer and store-team support when on site, modeling the Tiger Way principles (“Can-Do” attitude). Cross Department Collaboration · Work with technicians, site managers, and Retail Operations to proactively address equipment concerns. · Coordinate with vendors and suppliers when receiving parts, chemicals, or equipment deliveries. · Communicate status updates on repairs, outages, or material needs with clarity and professionalism. Safety & Compliance · Follow all Tiger safety protocols, wear proper PPE, and maintain awareness of electrical, chemical, and mechanical hazards. · Support proper documentation of incidents, equipment failures, and safety observations. Requirements Qualifications and Experience · 18 years or older · Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on technical work · Experience in the car wash industry is preferred · Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone · Valid driver's license with no major offences in the last 3 years · Basic troubleshooting ability; willingness to ask questions and escalate when needed · Friendly and professional interactions with team members and vendors · Works well with peers and leadership Physical Requirements · Must routinely: lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders or stairs, bend/kneel/crawl, stand extended periods, work outdoors in varied weather conditions. · Flexible schedule required: may include evenings, weekends, and on-call service support. · Frequent driving between sites · Office and field work: split between hands-on service sites and office/desk time for planning and reporting. · Exposure to wet, loud, non-climate-controlled environments (wash tunnels, equipment rooms).
