We’re now looking for a TikTok Live Director to lead our live commerce division, shaping strategy, managing operations, and delivering world-class live shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic direction, operational delivery, and commercial success of Somerce’s TikTok Live offering. You’ll oversee everything from live show planning and studio management to creator partnerships, client relationships, and campaign performance.
You’ll work closely with clients, creators, the Somerce team, and TikTok’s own partner teams to make sure every live stream hits the mark – delivering measurable results while keeping viewers engaged and coming back for more.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Set the vision for TikTok Live across Somerce, aligning with client goals and wider agency strategy
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of live commerce campaigns – from ideation to reporting
  • Lead live studio operations, ensuring the highest quality production and on-brand delivery
  • Recruit, brief, and manage TikTok Live presenters and creators
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor on all things TikTok Shop
  • Work with account managers to integrate live shopping into broader e-commerce and social strategies
  • Manage campaign calendars, promotional plans, product selections, and influencer partnerships
  • Monitor and optimise performance metrics to maximise sales, engagement, and ROI
  • Represent Somerce at events, in client pitches, and within TikTok’s partner programmes
  • Mentor and develop the live commerce team, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement
  • Manage budgets for live campaigns, ensuring profitability and efficient allocation of resources
  • Spot new trends, tools, and formats to keep Somerce ahead of the competition
