Responsibilities
E-commerce’s Governance and Experience (GNE) is a global team striving to achieve high customer satisfaction, promote a sustainable sales environment, and provide the perfect purchase experience.
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Education Channel Effectiveness Manager to lead the development and execution of policy education initiatives for TikTok Shop in the U.S. market.
In this role, you will drive transparency in platform governance, reduce policy violations, and foster a culture of compliance through scalable and impactful education programs. You will also serve as a key cross-functional partner, working closely with global and regional stakeholders to shape and optimize our end-to-end policy education framework.
Responsibilities
1. Drive transparency in e-commerce governance policies by building up the framework and channel of seller/creator-facing education—both online and offline, internal and external—that is clear, actionable, and aligned with TikTok Shop’s strategic goals.
2. Develop and execute data-driven education strategies to identify optimal delivery channels and formats that effectively reach sellers, reduce policy violations, and improve overall seller compliance behavior.
3. Lead the creation, management, and continuous improvement of internal and external, online and offline education content, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and effectiveness across seller segments.
4. Act as the voice of the seller/creator by collecting insights and feedback to stay ahead of key workflow changes, policy updates, and enforcement standards. Use strategic tools, systems, and analytics to surface trends and provide actionable recommendations to enhance education efforts.
5. Establish and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with global and regional teams, including Operations, Legal, PR, Strategy, Product, and Business Leadership, to collaboratively design, standardize, and scale policy education workflows and processes.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Proven experience (typically 5–8+ years) in policy education, content strategy, compliance, seller operations, or a related field—preferably within e-commerce or tech platforms.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple teams and time zones.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and optimize program performance.
  • Excellent written communication skills; ability to distill complex policy into clear, engaging educational materials.
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset, capable of balancing short-term execution with long-term planning.
