Description Summary To maintain and ensure the highest quality of standards for the scheduling and installation of all commercial tile jobs. Essential functions · Review all tile jobs prior to install date. Forward any feedback to the sales team and Project Manager prior to install date · Visit ongoing and new job sites, make sure installers have all the materials, proper paperwork and make sure that all the installations meet flooring and Floors Etc standards. · Review measured tile projects with Estimators to guide them with best installation methods · Review installation schedule and schedule requests and ensure continues work for the tile installers · Communicate with installers on daily bases and update salespeople on progress of their jobs · Call installers to review their job for next day · Call customers a head of time to confirm the readiness of the project Requirements Technical knowledge in the installation of ceramic/ stone, wood, vinyl and carpet. Provide outstanding customer service and demonstrate that the customer always comes first. Displays a positive, constructive, “can do” attitude. Uses sound judgment and discernment skills. Takes ownership for one’s own performance and is actively engaged in becoming proficient at their job. Ability to understand how one’s tasks and responsibilities are related to other departments, the company business, and the local flooring industry. Works diligently and thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Projects maturity and professionalism. Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Strives to proactively identify potential problems and offers or suggests effective solutions. This position is on-site in Timonium MD, with travel to client sites in the Mid-Atlantic and Eastern Region.

Responsibilities

The specialist is responsible for scheduling and overseeing commercial tile installations to ensure quality standards are met. They must coordinate between installers, sales teams, and customers while visiting job sites to verify materials and compliance.
