A Tiler with a CSCS is required this weekend in Farnham and potentially next week.
Up to £300 a day for weekend. CIS our Umbrella is available.
You must be able to provide to your own tools.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tile installation, demonstrating proficiency in using both hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Tile Setter, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of various spaces.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Tile Setter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to tile installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in carpentry or painting is considered an asset but not essential.
  • A valid driver’s licence may be required for transportation between job sites.

Responsibilities
  • Install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to design specifications and schematics.
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, smoothing, and applying necessary adhesives.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut tiles to size and shape as needed.
  • Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles during installation for a professional finish.
  • Perform necessary repairs or adjustments to existing tile work as required.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and painters, to ensure cohesive project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
