WHAT WILL YOU DO?

A day in the life of an Footwear Planner at Timberland looks a little like this.
As part of the Global Merchandise Planning team this person is responsible for supporting the Global Merchants with the development of the Global Product Assortment, continuously ensuring alignment with the brand’s seasonal financial and assortment targets. The Planner will work cross-functionally with Planning, Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance functions to provide analytical support on product performance. They will also support in creating the merchandise financial plans across all regions, sales channels and footwear product types.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in analytics and merchandise planning, forecasting, or buying
  • Educational/Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
  • Computer/Software Applications: Microsoft Office Suite – very strong Excel required
  • Tableau and MS Power BI reporting tools expertise
  • Experience product forecasting, statistical modeling and/or strategic planning
  • Experience in retail sales analysis
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to identify business opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate analysis to broad audience
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong cross functional collaboration skills required
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadline
