Description As a Time and Labor Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of workforce timekeeping, attendance tracking, and related payroll functions. Your role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of employee time data to support payroll accuracy, accounts receivable, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Utilize timekeeping systems to accurately record and track employee work hours, including regular hours, overtime, time off, and job coding. Audit timekeeping records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies. Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to timekeeping records promptly and effectively. Partner with Operations and Accounts Receivable teams internally, and customer partners externally to ensure complete and accurate records by providing regular, timely communication and deliverables. Collaborate with Payroll to ensure that time and attendance data are accurately processed for payroll purposes. Assist in resolving payroll inquiries and discrepancies related to time and attendance. Ensure company policies and procedures regarding time and attendance are consistently applied and followed. Generate regular reports on employee attendance, hours worked, overtime, and related metrics for management review. Analyze time and attendance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in workforce management. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping. Analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations. Effective communication skills to interact with employees, managers, and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer or other digital devices.
