About the Role As a Time & Attendance Specialist, you will work closely with the Time & Attendance Administrator and cross-functional teams to support accurate billing and payroll operations. Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities Review employee time records and authorization data to ensure accuracy and billable hours. Collaborate with county offices, payroll, and billing teams to resolve timecard issues and answer system-related questions. Identify and correct exceptions, time-entry errors, and eligibility issues to minimize unbillable time. Communicate with DSPs (Direct Support Professionals) and families/guardians to clarify time entries and authorizations. Monitor time-clock trends and proactively address over-clocks or discrepancies before payroll submission. Analyze and improve timekeeping processes to optimize authorized hours and reduce unnecessary overtime. Investigate punch anomalies and correct classification errors. Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Professionalism working with staff, families, and community partners. Must be able to pass a drug test if requested. Requirements Qualifications & Experience High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. 1+ year of billing, payroll, or timekeeping experience preferred. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Experience with time/attendance or payroll systems is a plus. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
