Job Title: Time Served Mobile & Plant Fitter

Salary: £60,000 per annum

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 15 years’ experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Fitter, or similar role.
• Advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
• Strong understanding of plant equipment operation and maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence an advantage).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible with travel and able to work overtime when required.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile & Plant Fitter with at least 15 years’ hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out scheduled maintenance, and ensuring machinery operates at peak performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service, repair, and maintain a wide range of plant machinery and batching plants.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Perform safety checks and ensure machinery complies with legal and site requirements.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Work independently while liaising professionally with clients and site managers.
