Description:

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Tire and Lube Technician works in a fast-paced Automotive Service environment. Key responsibilities include oil and lube service, and light vehicle maintenance and repairs. Possible apprenticeship can follow. Superior customer service and communication skills are essential to success in this position and in enhancing the customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of oil changes and minor repairs
  • Knowledge of market trends in the automotive service industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical components of automobiles.
  • Ability to work effectively with auto parts ordering systems and computerized work order systems.
  • Basic math and keyboarding skills.
  • Good working knowledge of CoStar is an asset.
  • Experience in a similar role, in a Canadian Tire Auto Service Centre, is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s licence for province of employment.

    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: From $17.20 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
