EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1+ years of experience as a commercial Tire Technician and relevant role in a private automotive repair shop (dealership experience is an asset)

• Willing to commute or relocate to Mississauga, ON
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strong automotive knowledge with the ability to explain complex repairs in simple terms.
• Change tires, make repair, select proper tire sizes, verify correct tires
• Perform tire maintenance: checking wear/tear, tire pressure, cleaning tires/wheels
• Mount/dismount tires without damage to wheels
• Balance, rotate
• Ensure efficient, accurate, thorough communication to service team
• Assist with general mechanical services
• Assist the service team with recommendations, alternatives and technical explanations
• Perform oil changes on a wide variety of passenger and light truck vehicles (including re-set of oil monitoring system)
• Assist with minor vehicle part replacements (air filters, light bulbs, etc.)
