JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and a passion for automotive repair. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires for various vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

SKILLS

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during tire installation and maintenance tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Sales experience is a plus, particularly in a dealership or automotive environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards in all work performed.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Experience:

• previous tire tech: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Canadian PR. Not a work permit (required)
• Class 5 Licence (required)

• Install, repair, and balance tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform tire-related tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding tire services.
• Assist with sales of tires and related products, promoting additional services as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in tire technology.
