Overview Fountain Tire Westlock (10843 100 St), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Tire Technician! What each day will bring: Something different! You never know what kind of vehicle or tire you may be required to work on or what customers will need help Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger, light truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires and wheels Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc. Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe What does it take to get on track? Previous experience in the automotive/tire industry is required Experience working with commercial tires preferred A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers A keen attention to detail Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract Basic computer skills Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms At Fountain Tire, you’d have a great place to work!
