I am hiring an Information Security Manager on behalf of a global automotive supplier specializing in engine systems, filtration, thermal management, and electrification. The company develops innovative technologies for internal combustion engines, hybrid solutions, and electric vehicles. With a strong focus on sustainability and efficiency, this company serves major automakers worldwide. It also provides solutions in industrial applications and aftermarket services.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Support the development of the company’s information security management system.
  • Train and assist business units in meeting security standards.
  • Conduct internal security assessments for compliance.
  • Prepare locations for external security certification audits (e.g., TISAX).
  • Lead projects to meet cost, quality, and schedule goals.
  • Propose improvements to security processes and guidelines.
  • Analyze audit results and drive continuous improvements.
  • Oversee corrective actions for security-related issues.
  • Maintain and develop documentation and tools for certification readiness.

Essential:

  • Degree in business administration, security management, IT, or similar field.
  • Experience in quality/safety management or auditing (preferably in automotive).
  • Project management knowledge (certification is a plus).
  • Familiarity with management systems, auditing, and cybersecurity standards (TISAX, ISO 9001 preferred)
  • Experience leading projects and working with international teams.
  • Fluent in German and English; other languages are a plus.
  • Customer-focused with a willingness to travel occasionally.
