Overview Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) is seeking a Title Examiner for Florida Title Production to join its Maitland, FL office. FNF is a leading provider of title insurance and transaction services to the real estate and mortgage industries. FNF is the nation's largest title insurance company through its title insurance underwriters - Fidelity National Title, Chicago Title, Commonwealth Land Title, Alamo Title and National Title of New York - that collectively issue more title insurance policies than any other title company in the United States. Duties • Searching and Examining.• Use our Title plant and our Production software to create title packages and reports.• Work with our offshore team.• Customer service.• Search our title plant and public records for legal documents related to property.• Examine those documents for validity and accuracy.• Prepare reports that outline actions needed to clear title.• Report any defects or discrepancies in the title chain. Education High school diploma. Experience • 3-5 years of Florida Title.• Knowledge and understanding of Foreclosures, Probates and Bankruptcy and how those affect title.• Experience with Title Point and Title Wave a plus, but not necessary. Additional Information REQUIREMENTS: • Good computer and typing skills.• Must be able to meet productivity goals and turn times.• Detail Oriented.
