Function Operations Pay Band E4 to M2 Role As the Team Manager you will be part of the Safety & Enviroment and will report to the Section Head - Safety & Environment. The purpose of your role will be to handle Safety, Health & Enviroment in the plant. A purpose driven role for you Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 1. Measures for prevention of accidents. 2. Organise legal compliance activities as per calendar. 3. Supervision of safety & Fire Protection facilities. 4. Organising trainings & awareness to reduce the injuries & incidents. 5. Environmental Protection activities. 6. To achieve IMS and EnMS objectives through adherence of systems and procedures for resource conservation in Section. A Day in the life To plan, coordinate and execute the activities in the area of Safety, Health and Enviroment, in order to avoid any RLTI or LTI and keep the operations run smoothly to achieve the daily business targets. Academic Qualification & Experience 1. B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 3 to 5 years work experience in safety & environment 2. Diploma in Engineering/Degree in Science with 10 to 12 years of work experience in safety & environment 3. Must have Post Diploma in Industrial Safety Technical Skills/Knowledge 1. MS Office, SAP & PPT 2. 5S, TPM, SPC & TPS 3. Understanding of benchmarking process 4. Formulation of action plan for mitigating risk related to IMS & EnMS 5. Energy Baseline 6. Variables affecting energy performance 7. Preparing Audit Plan 8. Knowledge of Safety & Environment activities Behavioural Skills 1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. 3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills 4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach 5. Planning and decision making.
