You’ll be responsible for creating safe, compliant and practical traffic management plans that support a wide range of activities on the road network. Mō te tūranga | About the role A typical day will include: Designing TMPs for single and multiple activities as prioritised Developing TMPs in accordance with NZGTTM and any approved variations or engineering exception decisions Producing traffic management plans using Rapid TCP (or similar) software Managing the complete TMP process from request to approval, including submission to the relevant road controlling authority Working closely with our Traffic Management Manager, STMSs, crews and clients to ensure plans are fit-for-purpose and delivered on Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with Good working knowledge of Rapid Plan, NZGTTM and My worksites Basic Microsoft office knowledge Is a problem solver who thinks ahead to the next step Works well in a team and supports others Takes pride in your work and the quality of what you deliver If you’ve got experience designing TMPs, using traffic management software, or coming from an STMS or traffic management background and keen to step into a design role, we’d love to hear from you.
