The UCI School of Medicine (SOM) is dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and clinical practice through scholarly research, physician education and high-quality care. The office of Medical Education oversees the education and training of medical students at the UCI School of Medicine, ranked as one of the top 50 U.S. medical schools for research by U.S. News & World Report. We are dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and clinical practice by offering a rich educational environment. We nurture the development of medical students, resident physicians and scholars in the clinical and basic sciences and support the dissemination of research advances for the benefit of society. Each year, we educate more than 400 medical students and train more than 700 residents and fellows at UC Irvine Medical Center and affiliated institutions. The medical school’s 915 full- and part-time and 753 volunteer faculty members are involved in teaching, providing medical care, and conducting research into the health challenges facing the 21st century. The school has 26 departments, ranging from basic science research to clinical medical and surgical specialties. It has research, clinical and teaching relationships with the VA Long Beach Healthcare System and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.
The UCI SOM Train New Trainers (TNT) Primary Care Fellowships is dedicated to transforming the landscape of primary care by integrating specialized training in behavioral health for adults and youth, as well as addiction medicine. Recognizing the critical need for primary care professionals who are proficient in these areas, the fellowship aims to bridge the gap between physical and mental health services, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care. Currently TNT Fellowships have three annual educational fellowships including: TNT Primary Care Psychiatry (PCP), Primary Care – Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (PC-CAP), and Primary Care – Training and Education in Addiction Medicine (PC-TEAM).
Responsibilities:
This position will use their skills as a seasoned, experienced marketing professional to perform the full range of marketing activities for the TNT Fellowships education program within the Office of Medical Education. This includes: developing and implementing promotional strategies, social media platforms, materials and products designed to promote awareness with the community, state and national level. The TNT Marketing Project Manager will partner with UCI School of Medicine Communications office to ensure marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines. This position will research, analyze, monitor and evaluate marketing efforts for effectiveness, reporting to the Principal Investigator/Associate Dean and as well as Administrative Director for TNT. This position will create, develop, produce and coordinate TNT events, including securing private corporate sponsorship as required. This position will coordinate with TNT vendors and UCI Marketing for advertising placement and schedules. This position will be responsible for some overnight travel for conference exhibiting. TNT Marketing Manager will administer marketing budget ensuring that budget goals are met.
