POSITION SUMMARY

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is seeking an enthusiastic and organized To-Go Server to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless takeout experience for our guests, providing exceptional customer service, and embodying the hospitality Grimaldi’s is known for.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, to-go, or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when needed.
  • Basic math and payment-handling skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly in-person and over the phone, ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Order Management: Accurately take and process to-go orders via phone, online, or in-person. Confirm all details, including customization requests, to meet guest expectations.
  • Food Preparation: Assemble and package orders to Grimaldi’s standards, ensuring accuracy, proper presentation, and quality.
  • Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit, and digital payment transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely preparation. Communicate clearly about special requests or modifications.
  • Quality Control: Verify orders before handing them off to guests, ensuring everything is complete and properly packaged.
  • Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized to-go station and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Customer Recovery: Address guest concerns or complaints with a solution-oriented mindset and escalate issues to management when needed.
