To-Go Specialist
As a To-Go Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate execution of all to-go orders, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred.
  • Must have Food Handler and TABC certifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and order fulfillment.
  • Basic math skills for processing payments.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a restaurant environment with exposure to heat, steam, and varying levels of noise.

  • Receive and process to-go orders via phone, online platforms, or in person.
  • Accurately input orders into the POS system, ensuring all special requests and modifications are noted.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and monitor order progress.
  • Customer Service
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to guests placing to-go orders, answering questions about menu items, specials, and promotions.
  • Ensure all to-go orders are packaged neatly and include the necessary utensils, condiments, and any additional items requested.
  • Resolve any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Order Fulfillment
  • Prepare to-go orders accurately and efficiently, following established outlines set by management.
  • Double check orders for accuracy before packaging and ensure all items are included.
  • Coordinate pickup times with customers to ensure orders are ready in a timely manner.
  • Sanitation and Organization
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the to-go station, packaging supplies, and storage areas.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times, including proper handwashing and storage of perishable items.
  • Monitor inventory levels of to-go packaging materials and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Assist other team members as needed, including running food to tables, bussing tables, or helping with cleaning tasks.
